PADI EFR Care for Children Program
Through the PADI Care For Children Course, organized by Underwater Academy Europe, you will learn to:
- Identify life-threatening emergencies in infants and children.
- Provide specific first aid for infants and children.
- Manage emergency situations where infants and children are in life-threatening danger.
- Perform CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) on infants and children.
- Prevent and treat bleeding, shock, and spinal injuries.
- Use protective barriers to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
- Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on infants and children.
Course Structure
The course includes two fundamental components:
1. Knowledge Development: Theoretical acquisition of rescue skills.
2. Practical Sessions: Application of rescue skills in simulated emergency scenarios.
Equipment
All necessary equipment for the practical sessions will be provided by our Dive Center.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to participate in the course and obtain the EFR certification.
