The PADI Underwater Navigator course is designed to enhance your observational skills and teach you how to use your underwater compass with greater accuracy. This course is perfect for those who love challenges and want to have fun finding the right path.
If you are at least 10 years old and a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver, you can enroll in the **PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty** course.
Academic Path
During the course, you will learn to use essential tools for underwater navigation, including natural reference navigation and compass navigation. The three dives in the course will allow you to:
- Accurately estimate distances underwater.
- Navigate using a compass while making at least five changes in direction.
- Mark or relocate a submerged object or position from the surface.
- Draw a detailed underwater map.
