pitstop Divers offers flexible diving equipment payment methods for private and professional customers, allowing purchases to be completed securely and conveniently.
Available payment options may vary depending on the type of customer, the characteristics of the order and any commercial terms previously agreed with Pitstop Divers.
All prices and payments on the Pitstop Divers website are processed in Euro (€).
Credit and Debit Card Payments
Orders placed through our online store can be paid directly at checkout using the major credit and debit cards supported by our payment system.
Pitstop Divers currently accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Transaction authorization and payment processing are handled through the payment provider used by Pitstop Divers.
Payment Security
Secure payment processing is an important part of our online purchasing experience.
When a card payment is processed through our payment provider, Pitstop Divers does not directly store the complete card details used for the transaction.
Payment information is processed using the security systems and protocols provided by the payment service provider responsible for handling the transaction.
Bank Transfer
Pitstop Divers also accepts payment by bank transfer.
When this payment method is selected, the order is processed according to the payment instructions provided to the customer.
Final preparation of the order may be subject to confirmation that payment has been received, unless different commercial terms have been agreed with a professional customer.
Any fees charged by the customer’s bank for processing the transfer are the responsibility of the customer.
Payment Terms for Professional B2B Customers
Professional customers can pay in advance directly through the online checkout using the payment cards accepted by Pitstop Divers.
Where a commercial relationship has been established, Pitstop Divers may also authorize different payment terms.
Subject to prior approval, these arrangements may include payment terms of 30, 60 or 90 days.
Deferred payment terms are not automatically available and are assessed individually by Pitstop Divers.
Payment on Delivery for B2B Customers
Payment on delivery is not a standard payment method available for purchases made through our website.
However, Pitstop Divers may authorize this option for selected professional B2B customers when it has been agreed in advance.
Where provided for under the commercial agreement, payment on delivery may be made by cheque according to the conditions communicated by Pitstop Divers.
This payment method must be expressly authorized before the order is shipped.
Unpaid or Returned Cheques
If a cheque received as part of a B2B transaction cannot be successfully processed or cleared, the customer will be responsible for costs directly associated with managing and recovering the outstanding payment, within the limits permitted by law.
These costs may include, where actually incurred, expenses related to returning the original cheque, arranging its replacement and other reasonable costs arising from the unpaid amount.
Pitstop Divers may also suspend previously granted payment terms until the outstanding balance has been fully settled.
Late B2B Payments
When deferred payment terms are granted to a professional customer, all amounts must be paid by the agreed due dates.
In the event of late payment, Pitstop Divers reserves the right to charge statutory late-payment interest applicable to commercial transactions, calculated on the overdue amount from the day following the agreed payment deadline.
Where permitted by law, Pitstop Divers may also claim applicable recovery costs resulting from the late payment.
Failure to comply with agreed payment terms may result in the suspension of previously granted credit terms and may require advance payment for subsequent orders.
Instalment Payment Options
Pitstop Divers is considering the introduction of additional payment solutions, including instalment payment services.
These options will only become available once they have been fully integrated and activated within our online store.
The relevant payment conditions will be published on the website when these services become available.
Currently Unavailable Payment Methods
Pitstop Divers does not currently accept PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
These or other payment services may be introduced in the future.
The payment methods actually available for each order are displayed during the checkout process.
