The Underwater Academy Europe offers the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course for young divers eager to hone their skills in a safe environment.
Course Details:
- Ages 10-11: Complete three Adventure Dives to become a Junior Adventure Diver; can dive up to 12 meters with a certified adult.
- Ages 12-14: Complete three Adventure Dives or five dives to obtain the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification; must dive with a certified adult. Those over 13 can participate in the online course.
Course Duration:
- Five open water dives, maximum of two per day.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age: 10 years
- PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
- Parental consent
- Medical certificate of diving fitness
- Adequate swimming skills
Program:
- Includes self-study and theoretical lessons with the instructor, followed by five open water dives.
Materials and Equipment:
- Provided materials: Manual, DVD, slate, surface marker buoy, emergency whistle.
- Diving equipment included in the course fee.
Completing the course allows access to advanced courses such as the Junior Rescue Diver.
