Underwater Academy Europe invites you to join the PADI Rescue Diver course, a unique opportunity to acquire essential skills in risk prevention and underwater emergency management.

PADI Rescue Diver Course Program

During the PADI Rescue Diver course, you will learn to:

- Manage underwater emergencies using self-rescue techniques.

- Recognize and handle stress in other divers.

- Use specific equipment for emergency management.

- Rescue panicked divers both on the surface and underwater.

- Assist unconscious divers both on the surface and underwater.

- Search for and rescue missing divers.

Course Structure

The course is divided into two main phases:

1. Knowledge Development: Can be completed online with individual study or in a classroom, to understand the basic principles of underwater rescue.

2. Practical Water Sessions: Include 9 emergency management exercises in 2 different scenarios.

Diving Equipment

Underwater Academy Europe provides all the necessary specific equipment, such as signaling buoys and oxygen units, to complete the PADI Rescue Diver course. Additional diving equipment can be rented at our Dive Center.

Prerequisites

To participate in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must:

- Be a PADI (Junior) Adventure Diver with an underwater navigation adventure dive (or have an equivalent certification from another organization).

- Have a valid first aid and secondary care certification not older than two years.

- Be at least 12 years old.

PADI Rescue Diver Certification

At the end of the course, you will receive the PADI Rescue Diver certification, an essential step to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver and accessing the PADI Divemaster course.
