Business / B2B FAQs
B2B access is intended for diving centres, dive shops, diving schools, freediving centres, mermaiding operators, instructors and other professionals or businesses operating within the diving industry and related activities. Each application is reviewed before B2B access is activated.
No. Entering your business details during registration does not automatically activate access to B2B pricing. A new account remains subject to the standard conditions available on the website until Pitstop Divers expressly approves B2B activation.
After creating your account, submit a request through the Customer Support Hub and select B2B Activation. Your request should refer to the registered account and include sufficient information to identify your professional or business activity.
Pitstop Divers may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify the applicant’s professional or business activity. Depending on the circumstances, this may include business details, VAT number, information about the activity carried out or other relevant documentation. Verification is carried out solely for the purpose of assessing and managing B2B access.
No. Submitting a request does not guarantee activation. Pitstop Divers reviews the information provided and may request additional information before approving the account. Access to B2B pricing and conditions becomes available only after the account has been approved.
Yes. However, until B2B access is activated, your account will be handled under the standard conditions available on the website. Business details entered in your account may be used for the correct issuing of order documentation, but they do not automatically entitle you to B2B pricing.
No. B2B activation applies to purchases made after the account has been approved and does not automatically result in the recalculation, credit or refund of any difference relating to orders already completed under the conditions applicable at the time of purchase.
Once B2B access has been activated, your account may display the applicable professional pricing for products where B2B conditions are available. Unless otherwise stated, B2B prices are displayed excluding VAT. The final VAT treatment is determined according to the customer’s details, the transaction and the applicable VAT rules.
No. B2B pricing excluding VAT and the VAT treatment of a transaction are separate matters. Whether VAT is charged depends on the requirements of the applicable tax rules, including, where relevant, the validity of the VAT number and the destination of the goods.
Where necessary, Pitstop Divers may verify the validity of the VAT number provided by the customer using available official systems, including VIES for intra-EU VAT registrations. If the VAT number is not valid for the relevant transaction, the VAT treatment required by applicable law will be applied.
Not necessarily. Professional conditions may vary depending on the product, brand, category, availability, quantity and applicable commercial conditions. B2B activation provides access to the professional conditions available for the account but does not imply a uniform discount percentage across the entire catalogue.
Any minimum quantity, minimum pack size or specific commercial condition will be indicated where applicable to the relevant product or offer. Pitstop Divers does not automatically apply the same minimum order requirement to every product.
Yes. For significant quantities, supplies for diving centres, schools, shops or other professional requirements, contact Pitstop Divers through the Customer Support Hub and select Business Support. Availability and commercial conditions will be assessed according to the products and quantities requested.
Yes. Spare parts sourcing is a core part of the Pitstop Divers B2B service. If a component is not listed in our catalogue, you can submit a request specifying at least the brand, model, required component, quantity and all available technical information. Where relevant, we also recommend providing the part number, equipment version and serial number.
Yes. Professional customers may submit a request containing multiple items. To speed up the verification process, we recommend organising the list by providing the brand, model, part number where available, description and required quantity for each component. Complete information helps reduce the risk of errors when identifying spare parts.
Yes, where a compatible alternative is available. Pitstop Divers distinguishes, where applicable, between original spare parts and compatible aftermarket parts. An aftermarket component is not presented as an original product manufactured by the equipment manufacturer.
equipment version or serial number?
Do not rely solely on the appearance of the component. For equipment that has undergone production revisions or uses different components depending on the version, verify the part number, model, version and, where necessary, serial number. If you are unsure, provide this information to Pitstop Divers before ordering or installing the component.
We can assist with the commercial and technical identification of a component based on the information available. This service does not replace maintenance, diagnostics, servicing, overhaul or certification procedures that must be performed by appropriately qualified technicians where required by the manufacturer or by the nature of the equipment.
No. B2B access identifies a professional customer and provides access to the relevant commercial conditions, but it does not constitute technical certification or authorization to perform work requiring specific qualifications, training, tools, procedures or authorizations.
The availability of a component for sale does not alter the technical requirements for its correct installation and verification. Components intended for safety-critical equipment or systems must be installed, adjusted, tested and returned to service in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and by appropriately qualified personnel where required.
The available payment methods are those shown in the customer’s account, during checkout or in any commercial terms separately agreed with the customer. B2B activation does not automatically provide entitlement to deferred payment, a credit facility or customised payment terms.
Any commercial terms that differ from the standard conditions must be agreed in advance and approved by Pitstop Divers. Having a B2B account or having placed previous orders does not automatically entitle a customer to credit facilities or deferred payment terms.
Order documentation is issued using the business details stored in the customer’s account and applicable to the transaction. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the business name, address, VAT number and other billing information are correct and up to date before completing the order.
Update your account details and, where the change affects information used for B2B verification or VAT treatment, contact Pitstop Divers through the Customer Support Hub. Pitstop Divers may require renewed verification before certain B2B conditions can continue to be applied.
B2B access remains associated with the account for as long as the applicable requirements continue to be met. Pitstop Divers may request updated information or renewed verification where necessary, for example following changes to business details, information that is no longer valid or other circumstances relevant to the account’s B2B eligibility.
For enquiries relating to supplies, quantities, availability, sourcing or other professional commercial requirements, use the Customer Support Hub and select Business Support. To request B2B account access, use the dedicated B2B Activation category.
