PADI Drift Diver

Description

Academic Path
Along with the techniques and procedures for drift diving:
- You will receive a complete introduction to drift diving equipment, such as floats, lines, and reels.
- You will gain an overview of currents, understanding their causes and effects.
- During two drift dives, you will practice buoyancy control, navigation, and communication.
- You will learn techniques that will allow you to stay close to your buddy or group while being carried by the current.
- You will earn credit: the first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course can be credited as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Contact us for more information on how to obtain the credit.
Equipment You Will Use
