Academic Pathway
Throughout the course, participants will learn the skills necessary to perform safety operations responsibly and effectively. Equipment You Will Use
In addition to your basic gear, it is recommended to have gloves, a dive knife, another cutting tool, and at least two cylinders. Further technical equipment may be suggested at the discretion of the PADI instructor.
Prerequisites
To enroll in the Public Safety Diver course, you must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and at least 18 years old. Additionally, you must earn your PADI Rescue Diver certification before completing the course.
Certification
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive the PADI Public Safety Diver certification, signifying their competence in the field of underwater public safety.
