Deep diving has an irresistible allure, with its secrets and mysteries waiting to be discovered. The PADI Deep Diver course offered by Underwater Academy Europe will allow you to explore depths of up to 40 meters safely, gaining essential skills such as:
* Managing underwater pressure changes
* Preventing nitrogen narcosis
* Understanding nitrogen accumulation and decompression sickness
* Awareness of oxygen toxicity
* Diving techniques between 18 and 40 meters
* Selecting and using equipment suitable for deep dives
* Planning, organizing, and executing deep dives
The course program is structured into two main phases:
1. In-depth theory study, including self-study and classroom sessions
2. Four open water dives to apply the skills learned
PADI Deep Diver Requirements and Certification
To enroll in the course, you must be an Adventure Diver and at least 15 years old. Upon completing the course, in addition to mastering specific deep diving equipment, you will receive the prestigious PADI Deep Diver specialty certification. This will authorize you to safely explore depths of up to 40 meters. Additionally, the certification can count as an adventure dive towards the PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses.
