The PADI Night Diver course, promoted by Underwater Academy Europe, offers you the exciting opportunity to explore the magical underwater world during nighttime. You will discover how marine life transforms after sunset and have the unique chance to observe nocturnal creatures such as crabs, bioluminescent fish, and corals that glow in the dark. This mysterious and fascinating experience will give you unforgettable memories.
Academic Path
During the PADI Night Diver course, you will acquire specific skills and precautions necessary to dive safely during night dives. Topics will include the unique challenges of night diving, the use of specialized equipment such as underwater lights and surface markers, safety procedures, navigation and communication techniques in low visibility conditions, observation and identification of nocturnal creatures, as well as planning and managing night dives. Information on responsible behavior and environmental considerations during night dives will also be provided.
Equipment You Will Use
During the course, you will have the opportunity to use standard scuba diving equipment, such as a mask, fins, BCD (buoyancy control device), regulator, and pressure gauge. Additionally, you will familiarize yourself with specific night diving equipment, such as underwater lights and surface markers.
Required Prerequisites
To participate in this course, you must have obtained the Open Water Diver certification (or higher) and be at least 12 years old. Previous night diving experience is not required, but it is advisable to have a good command of basic diving skills to get the most out of this experience.
Certification Awarded
At the end of the PADI Night Diver course, you will receive the prestigious PADI Night Diver certification, which attests to your skills and allows you to dive safely and knowledgeably during night dives.
