PADI Open Water Diver
Certified PADI Open Water Divers are qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) without the need for professional supervision.
The course consists of five theoretical modules, five confined water practice sessions, and four open water dives.

Open Water Diver Course PADI - Under Water Academy
The Open Water Diver Course PADI offered by the Under Water Academy is designed to provide all the necessary skills to safely dive up to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
Course Description:
The program, divided into five knowledge development segments, covers the physics and physiology of diving, dive planning, safety procedures, and the use of scuba equipment. Each segment includes quizzes and culminates in a final exam.
Academic and Practical Path:
After completing the theoretical segments and the final exam, students will participate in nine practical dives, including five confined water dives and four open water dives, supervised by a PADI instructor.
Equipment Used:
Students will use essential equipment such as a compass for navigation, an inflatable signaling tube, and a PADI Skill Practice and Dive Planning Slate.
Required Standards:
To obtain the Open Water Diver PADI certification, you must complete all dives, meet the swimming requirements, and pass both the theoretical and practical segments of the course.
Minimum Age Requirement:
- Junior Open Water Diver: 10 years old
- Open Water Diver: 15 years old
Certification Awarded:
Upon completion of the course, you will receive the Open Water Diver PADI certification, recognized worldwide, allowing you to dive up to a depth of 18 meters (60 feet). Younger divers (10-14 years old) will receive the Junior Open Water Diver certification.
