PADI Equipment Specialist Course

The **PADI Equipment Specialist** course teaches you how to handle minor repairs and adjustments, such as replacing an o-ring, repairing a wetsuit, or fixing a broken fin strap. You will gain a deeper understanding of how your equipment works, enabling you to extend its lifespan and maximize its performance.
This course is perfect for all divers, from beginners to advanced. If you are at least 10 years old and a certified **PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver**, you can enroll and start learning the secrets of your scuba gear.
Academic Path
Throughout the course, you will learn how to perform routine repairs and proper maintenance of your equipment. Your instructor will demonstrate how to fix common gear issues and provide valuable tips on equipment setup. You’ll also have the opportunity to get familiar with unfamiliar gear and, in some cases, even test it in water.
Equipment Provided
Underwater Academy will supply the necessary equipment to teach you practical techniques for maintenance and repairs. You may also be asked to bring your personal gear to practice working on it.
Course Structure
- Total duration: 2 days.
- Theoretical lessons: 2 (divided into 4 sessions) with a qualified instructor.
- Practical lessons: 1 session with an instructor.
- Final exam: Yes (both written and practical).
- Certification awarded: Official **PADI Equipment Specialist** certification.
