Course Objectives
The course certifies your ability to:
- Perform a static apnea hold for at least 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Complete a dynamic horizontal apnea dive for at least 50 meters underwater.
- Reach a depth between -16 and -24 meters (maximum -15 meters for those under 18).
These skills are supported by in-depth training in breathing techniques, relaxation, and stretching exercises, designed to improve your efficiency underwater and enhance your performance.
Course Structure
The program consists of three main stages, combined to offer a comprehensive training experience:
1. Theoretical Development
- You will learn advanced techniques and equipment management through the PADI Freediver Touch™ or in theory sessions led by the instructor.
2. Confined Water Sessions
- Here, you will refine stretching and relaxation techniques while improving static and dynamic apnea skills. The goal is a static apnea of 2 minutes and 30 seconds and a dynamic apnea of 50 meters, enhancing both mental and physical control.
3. Open Water Sessions
- You’ll practice deep constant weight dives, improving depth control, safety, and rescue techniques. The goal is a constant weight apnea dive to a depth of 20 meters, with practical training in buddy procedures and safety skills
